About me

I am a Brazilian diplomat, composer, musician, writer, songwriter, and singer. I was born in Salvador da Bahia, the firstborn of two teachers. In 2015, I released the Album Aminthas Angel featuring Brazilian (Bahian) music with songs written by me. From 2021 to 2025, I worked as a cultural attaché in the Embassy of Brazil in Sweden.

Music

I got my first acoustic guitar at the age of six and wrote my first song when I was sixteen. I sang in the Choir of the Brazil–United States Cultural Association (ACBEU) and participated in the group Somos América, where I performed songs from the Hispanic Americas and recited poems by Spanish-speaking authors. In 2015, I released the album Aminthas Angel, featuring Brazilian (Bahian) music and songs I wrote, some of them co-written with my friend, poet, and fellow diplomat Jean Tahrun.  I also wrote melodies for poems by the late poet Clóris Sada Ribeiro and Vanessa Dourado. In 2017, Navona Records released a string quartet adaptation of part of the Third Movement of the symphony Welcome, written in honour of my late father. The entire symphony is to be released in 2026.

Literature

Since 2021, some of my short stories and poems have been published in Brazil by São Paulo Review Magazine, Off FLIP and Vivara publishing houses, and in France by Pro/Prose Magazin. I’m about to release my first novel — coming soon
